Who is
Melian Van Dam?

Hi I’m Melian and outside of my studies, I enjoy visiting museums which give me both peace and inspiration. I also love baking and cooking for my family, and going on long hikes with friends.

I love new experiences and enjoy learning new things, which is why I almost always have a personal project going—from making my own limoncello to building a garden table from reclaimed wood. Whenever I can, I love exploring new places and traveling to different countries.

A few words about me

I love designing digital experiences that are both accessible and visually impactful. With my background in primary education, I’ve gained valuable insights into pedagogy and presentation. skills I now apply in my work as a UX/UI designer to communicate information with clarity and impact.

What do I find important in a designer? The ability to truly listen to the needs of different stakeholders. By actively listening and looking at a challenge from multiple perspectives, I believe design can become not only user-friendly but also meaningful and valuable for both users and organizations.
